Psychological Professions Support Meeting

PSIIQC will be offering two free monthly online (via Zoom) support meetings for psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, coaches, counsellors and social workers.

The UK is falling down the ladder when it comes to LGBTQ+ rights. Recent changes in legislation and health policy have created a lot of confusion and fear. However the trans, non-binary and intersex communities have also been inspired into resilience, resistance and action, with the integrity and dignity that has always characterised their contribution to the LGBTQ+ communities and society more broadly.

This support meeting is a space to consider the changing circumstances for the professions, what the personal and professional impact is, and how best to stay safe, healthy and happy.

Community Meeting: For those who identify as trans, non-binary or intersex.

Family and Carers Meeting: For those who may not be trans, non-binary or intersex, but who have a loved one who is, or who care for someone who is.

At present you do not need to be a member of PSIIQC in order to attend this group. However this will be a closed group, and you will be asked to provide your professional registration number and other personally identifiable information during the application process in order to maintain a safe and confidential space. Please see our full privacy policy and terms and conditions.
